Teddy Bear Leipzig 1903 - Made of reddish brown mohair, fully jointed and has been modeled on the original Bear 55 PB. His paw pads are woolen felt and he has a handstitched nose, mouth and claws. He wears a Club pendant made of porcelain around his neck.

He comes in a shipping crate with clip locks which bears the branded trademark M. St. Elefant which was used in 1903 and the words Messe Leipzig 1903. A label traditionally used for sample articles adds the final touch to this wonderful wooden box.

Limited Edition available to Steiff Club members only in 2003, not on general sale. 4500 bears were produced according to Steiff at the end of the year.

Teddy Bear Liepzig 1903 bear proudly features the gold-plated "Button in Ear" and comes with his certificate of authenticity.
