Divine Hildegard Gunzel Limited Edition Doll Named Fianca
Standing approximately 20" tall, Fianca has been expertly fashioned in the Walterhausen factory from a material called Biggidur which makes the doll look as if she has soft tender skin. The porcelain-like finish and attention to detail guarantee that she has an incredible life-like expression which is not to be found in any other doll. However she is durable like dolls made from artist's vinyl.
Fianca has high quality hand-blown hazel coloured glass eyes framed with long delicate brown lashes and an auburn mohair wig giving the appearance of baby hair.
She has a soft material body allowing her to be moved into different poses.
Her clothes are of the highest quality - she wears a white long sleeved heavy cotton dress edged in blue and red ribbon with a soft navy blue woollen coat with matching white sailor collar and cuffs,over a cotton buttoned liberty bodice and broidery anglais edged pantaloons.
Accessories include black woollen stockings and black suede shoes with a single button fastening and leather soles. A fantastic navy blue wool felt hat completes the outfit.
Fianca is number 16 from a world wide limit of 250 and has a certificate of authenticity in the form of a passport which also gives her date of birth as being 1st. February 2001.
Fianca has been displayed for a short time in a large glass cabinet in my shop - there is no fading to clothing since it was not in sunlight or shop light and she was never handled. Her price reflects this.
